Hi everybody,
I’m starting my ceglug blog with the solution to a particularly a very notorious virus that is predominant in the LANs in the colleges and causes significant damage to the system’s resources. It disables regedit, msconfig and most importantly the taskmanager.
In case you do not know that this virus is causing it and you use TaskManagerFix to resolve it, the condition becomes worse. The system shuts down every time you press Ctrl+Alt+Del or Run Regedit / Msconfig and uses 50% or more of your processor.
I had several attacks of this particular virus and had been reinstalling my windows xp to resolve it, though it solved the problem, the process was cumbersome. I stumbled across this tool that provided an easy and quick-resolution tool to this problem.
Download the tool and install it. Run it once in your system and all of the registry entries created by it shall be removed.

I am sorry that I had to start the posts with a blog on Windows as I am not too much accustomed to Ubuntu, although i use it for simulation purposes - primarily GNU Octave, Circuit bench, etc.
